i had all my tires slashed so i had to buy used tires for a 97 honda accord i normally use 205/60R15 tires but i had to settle for used 195/65R15 tires and my check malfunction light has been on ever since. i got the diagnostic checked and it read speed sensor failure. also my car now slips in third gear. and none of this $h!t happened before . i guess what i want to know is are the wrong size tires the cause of all this?????

The tire size difference, as long as all are the same size had nothing to do with the "Check Engine" light, or the Vehicle Speed Sensor failure.
There is an issue in the transmission, and it is all a coincidence.
The transmission doesn't know or care what size tires you have. Consider the use of the "Donut" spare.
Take your little car to a quality reputable transmission shop or the dealer for PROPER diagnostics, and ask for an estimate of cost and time required for the repair.

yep...shoulda stuck with same size tires. Your speedometer is off, it's probably throwing the trasmission to go into fits since it uses all that to determine when to shift.
