Assume that you have gram stained a sample of pus from a patients urethra. You see red, nucleated cells (>10 Mm) and blue rods (2.5 Mm). What can you conclude?

I can't figure this one out. Please help!

Blue rods are the gram negative bacilli - in all likelihood E coli

The red nucleated cells are probable neutrophils
