If your contract is expired you are usually placed on a month-by-month contract, which means you can leave anytime. You WILL have to pay any past-due balance with Sprint, or they can take it to collections which will hurt your credit, but to answer your question, yes, you are free to leave when your contract expires.

LMAO, Sprint!? I call sprint the sneeze network. If I sneeze on a napkin, all the little drops of mucus represent how spotty their network is.
If you check consumer reports, Verizon Wireless is number one in nearly every test market, second only to Alltell in few southern markets. Sprint is consistently at the bottom of these consumer tests in regards to customer service and network reliability.
