There's an old joke about how an engineer answers this question.
The answer isn't that the glass is half full or half empty. The answer is that the glass was wrongly sized for the amount of liquid it was intended to hold.

I always try to be a "half full" type of person. Life will always have its difficulties, but a "half full" attitude will find the way to overcome the situation and perhaps even see how that situation can be beneficial in some way, while the "half empty" attitude can cripple an individual during a trying situation and can actually make things worse.

Half empty.
I try to be picky and I try to find ways to make the glass all the way full. I strive to do the best I can do and learn my mistakes to do well and become a better person.
So in other words, I try to work on my mistakes or anything I need to work on.
