Costco (and a few others) sell a product called "OilEater". It comes in a 1-gallon jug with an empty spray bottle for mixing.
Use the OilEater full-strength in the sprayer, and use as a pre-soak.
Works very well, and will remove all stains (grease stains) that don't contain graphite.
It may leave the residue of heavy metal debris, and it isn't all that good for merely dirt, but great for your needs.
i have been using it for 20+ years for my uniforms, shop towels and to clean the driveway of stains.
