IT IS NOT ONLY A MATTER OF CHANCE IN A UNCERTAIN GAME LIKE CRICKET.

SO PLEASE DON'T MIND FOR BANGLADESH WIN AGAINST INDIA & INDIAN WIN AGAINST BERMUDA.

MIND IT THAT WINNING IN CRICKET MATCH IN WORLD CUP, IS NOT A MATTER OF CHANCE BUT A HARD COMPETITION .

I agree with JP. Indians were over confident after they beat sri Lanka in Indian soil. They took the match so easy & lost it comprehensivly to an upcoming team like bangladesh.

On the other hand Bangladesh team is very strong in this season. Mr. Watmore has said that they are going to beat Sri Lanka in the world cup. Watmore was once coach for Sri Lanka when they won 1996 world cup & was sacked. So he is determined to beat Lankans. On the other hand Lankans are one of the favourites in this world cup & not to underastimate at all. They know the capability of Bangladesh & India's must win situation. I'm sure Lankans will face both these teams well & will go in to the best 8.

I agree with 'Seagull' that Bangladesh team-members never ever claimed themselves to be the World Champion.

You also corroborated in your question saying that "... but Indian players didn’t perform well against team like Bangladesh" which is also suggesting obliquely that perhaps the Indian Teams did not feel to perform superb-skill against Bangladesh.

If you witnessed the match of 17th March then you would certainly saw the body language of each and every Indian players (and also the commentators of Sony-Max) that Indian team was putting 100% efforts individually as well as collectively to win the match.

So, implying that 'chance' was given to Bangladesh by Indian Team is tantamount to insulting the intelligence of the Indian and Bangladesh TV spectators as well as spectators in the stadium, not to talk about the people all over the world who witnessed the match.

The concluding part of your question is on the verge of 'childish' statement, as if, there is powerful-teams exclusive club existed and you want to bar entry of 'inferior' teams access by invoking Club Rules (lol).

Hope you realise that India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, New Zealand and such 'powerful teams' were also minnows at 7-years of their age when they first got their own test playing nation's status, where Bangladesh is standing now. Did all of them made thus far progress after within their 7th anniversary?

I do hope to see a good 'fight' in today's match between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka where chances of SL-win is at same level as that of 17th March's match between Bangladesh and India where India was a favourite.

You are wrong! Bangladesh team does not think themselves a world champion. Its the damn Indians who love to dream about the trophy all the time but only got it a single time long long ago. Cricket today is a battle. No one gives others "chance" here. Winners win because they're worthy of it and losers lose because they're not eligible for it.
One thing you should remember, if Indians loss to Sri Lanka next then "their" dream will be ended, not Bangladesh's, whether Bangladesh wins or loss against Sri Lanka today.

Cricket is a game of uncertainties as has been proved on number of occasions and as such shuch upsets happen once in a while. The result of any match purely depend upon the performance of the team on that particular day. Unfortunately in India's case, Indian players played poorly whereas Bangladesh players played superbly.
