I think he is more troubled than bad and on a spiral of self destruction, which can happen to the best of us but becomes difficult to manage and treat when the use of drugs and alcohol are involved. He may be depressed and not personally strong enough to cope without substances. They tend to block things out for a while and sometimes it takes something drastic in the other parts of their lives that are stable to get them to even recognise they do have a real sickness or problem. The last thing he needs are judgments right now, but strong supportive people around him to help him get his life and thoughts in order without giving pity or sympathy. I don't know what the issues are with his GF but it's personal and up to them what they make publicly known. I wish him all the best and every success in recovering from this part of his life.

I think they had every right to suspend him. I think he is having a hard time at the moment and he probably needs time out to deal with whatever he is going through and fingers crossed he comes out of it 100% better so he can get back to his winning ways. All proffesional teams need to take a no tolerance stance to drug taking (presuming that is why he was suspended) WCE better watch out though because they are quickly becoming known as a 'druggie team'. Sponsers and players will not want to be associated with that.

a fairly good chance of him being drug addicted/ user if they way the whole situation has been portrayed in the media.....

I think as a professional athelete he should know better and that the eagles management have every right to take this sort of action based on those facts
