Although the baby looking like a light skinned black person is more common. It is possible for the child to look white. I dont think the side the races come from matter, babies are suppose to get half of the genes from both mom and dad. Mariah carey looks more white, for example.

There is a higher probablity of the baby being a combo of both parents features meaning the would most likely be tannish or light brown. Then they have the 2nd highest chance of looking slightly like one parent (either you or your hubby). Then the smallest chance is of the child looking extremley similar to one parent.
SO it depends. Genetics are like the lotto...You never know. You could have a

I wouldn't think it would matter. I knew a woman who was white and very pale and her husband was very dark black. They had two girls together and you would never know that they were sisters. The oldest was as black as her dad and the youngest was as white as her mother. It's really hard to tell with genetics!!!! Oh, and yes they were full sisters and have the DNA tests to prove it!!!!

It really wouldnt matter, because either way the black genes usually always turn out to be stronger than his/her partner whether its a male or female.

The genetic predisposition of the child is very difficult to determine. It will fall between regardless. I will say that it best to prepare for the child to have some of the best and worst from each. I dare say this child would be stunning both intellectually and aesthetically. My parents were of different racial backgrounds, and I am a very well-put-together combination of them.

it all has to do with the more dominate gene's. its just like the way the gender of a person is determined by chromosome.
ex - xx chromosome is a girl, xy chromosome is a boy.
