Well, you've certainly had a very nice pop over the past few months.

Sometimes I'll get out of a stock if it's gone up a lot recently without a really significant event underpinning the price increase. On the other hand if the company remains strong and has rallied on increases in profitability you may want to stay with it.

Remember you can create a stop order that will sell the shares if they drop below a certain price. This can allow you to keep the shares but still rest easy that you'll sell them before they plummet (one caveat though; a stop won't save you from a stock gapping doward-- if for example NKE releases bad earnings after the market closes and opens at 80 (down from say 110 the day before) and you have a stop at 105, the stop will be executed at 80.)

Nike is prepared to release their earnings on Thursday (3/22) and are expect to beat their expectations.

Before earnings you will see the stock dip a bit, but should climb on Friday after the numbers are released. Then, I would look at how much you have invested and if you are up significantly, you might want to take some profits off the table.

Depends on how much you got. If you have enough, sell half, because it might just keep rising. I believe it will rise though.
