I'm visiting Northridge, CA soon and I need to find the town nearest to it that has an airport. I know LA is one of them, but I don't want to drive through LA. Any other towns?

Try Van Nuys Airport or Burbank Airport

Burbank Airport is fifteen minutes away on a good day. Great Airport, no traffic, no lines.
Onterio is too far and LAX is crazy. Van Nuys Airport does not commercial flights.

You could try Burbank, however they don't have a lot of flights to choose from. Otherwise you will need to fly into LAX, it's not a bad place to drive through and you shouldn't avoided it. There isn't really another "close" airport to choose from.

the nearest commercial airport is Burbank (also Known
as Bob Hope airport)
and you can also take metrolink from the airport to
Northridge.
(there are several trains a day (Monday though Friday only though)
Amtrak also services same station as well..

Burbank has a decent sized one and Van Nuys has a small one.

Ontario is close and has a airport... Its not a super big one but its right off the highway and not as busy as LAX.
