How much are my Roberto Clemente baseball cards worth?? I hv a 1973, and 1972 Topps card, both in very good condition, not quite 'mint condition.'

The cards from that era are very condition sensitive. If the card has any corners that are not razor sharp, or if the picture in the center is even slightly off center, it greatly affects the value of the card.

In Near Mint condition (one corner has a very slight touch; centering is 60-40 or better; surface is clean and unblemished), the 72 and 73 run just under $50. If the condition is not that good, you're probably looking at about $10-$15.

Here's an ebay link to a search for clemente cards from 1972:

You're not going to get rich on baseball cards. Enjoy these cards for what they are: 35 year old relics from a time when the game was much more of a game. They don't make cards like those psychedelic 1972 cards anymore!

Condition is very important. However, Roberto Clemente is still a very sought after player. You could still get a decent price if the condition is off a little. Some collectors are not as concerned with condition because they collect just to collect.

The 1972 card should go for less than $50. The 1973 card is less than $40.

1972? 1973?.......Renember, cards are massprodouced, but a ROberto Clemente is not very common, it would be about 20 Bucks, GL with that! Sell it on amazon ....If you want to sell it, people will buy it for the exact prive you want. Good Luck once again!

With how cold the baseball card market is right now, you're better off holding onto them, there were a bunch of articles in USA Today a little while back. about how baseball cards have lost their value today like they did in the 70's. I say wait it out about 10-20 years before even considering to sell it if you want good value out of it.

They are worth whatever a collector is willing to pay.

I would have to see them. "Very good" condition is along way from "mint".
