Hi, see first of all, 'induction' in the sense any thing that takes place with out contact....magnetic induction in the sense induction due to magnetic effect....consider, a coil(solonoid) being placed in the magnetic field (that is between the north and south poles of a magnet)...when this coil is rotated in this field, according to Faraday's law an emf(voltage) is induced(generated) in the coil....this inturn produces a current in the coil...this is how electicity is generated in the generating stations......when the current flow through the coil, some part of the energy goes out as heat in the coil...this heat can be used.....now regarding ur point that "Has Magnetic Induction any role to play in Global warming or in Geography?" then my answer is yes....it is seen experimentally that, earth has its own magnetic field becoz it has north & south pole and it revolving in its own axis .....it is seen that some heat is exhibited in this process...not only this the magnetic field of other celestial bodies are also considered to have some effect on our planet's atmosphere....but i think the effect of this on global warming is very less.....

Magnetic or electromagnetic induction is the production of electricity through a magnet.It is a phenomenon given by Michael Faraday according to which when a coiled wire(a rod coiled by wires) is rotated between poles of a strong magnet,then it produces electricity.The produced electricity could be used for working of heating instruments.

Magnetic Induction is a voltage generated by a changing current in a coil (an inductor).

It generates heat because an inductor stores energy and can release it.

It has nothing to do with global warming.

I think what you want to know is related to induction heating....
When you use RF or a rotating magnetic field near a conductor, eddy currents (Lenz Law) are set in motion inside the conductor, since there is resistance to the flow of these currents inside the conductor, the conductor will heat up until becomes red hot and eventually it will melt.
