TEHRAN -– Expediency Council Chairman Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani said here on Thursday that the United States is behind all problems in the Middle East region.

“The problems in the regional countries especially in Iraq stem from U.S. plots to create division and today we can see the United States behind all problems in the region,” he said during a meting with Syrian Prime Minister Muhammad Naji al-Otri.

The two officials held talks on major regional issues especially Iraq, Lebanon, and Palestine.

Middle east was not good when saddam was ruling who was a puppet for United state at that time.....United states brought him up and then he done whatever US governamnt wanted him to do, war with iran, attack on kuwait etc..........That was indirect manifestation and now when US is there directly so the situation is even worse !
