I guess a lot of people who answered don't know that British monarchs are rarely called by their first name...King George VI name was Albert...

Probably not. Both previous Charleses reigned at a controversial time in England during and after the Civil War. I understand the Charles wishes to be George VII in honour of his grandfather. His given names are Charles Philip Arthur George so he won't be taking a name he doesn't have.

It would be more interesting if he becomes King Arthur. In any case, let us hope that Elizabeth remains queen for as long as she is granted to do so by God.

No necessarily, he may choose another name different from his birth name when he becomes monarch. He could pick any name he wishes.

I don't think that he would be king. The best / decent thing would be handing the thrown to William .
