I prefer a reasonable speed limit. Why? Because the highways are full of stupid, young , irresponsible drivers who's little pea brain only processes the idea of "how fast can I go, and can I do the same stupid stunts I just saw done in some moronic movie". Just look at the questions listed here and count how many are asking " How can I make my car go faster"

The speed limit is there cause to many stupid punks believe what they have seen in fast an furious, and would be killing themselves and other people, not to mention wrecking the wimpy imports that they whined an cried to mommy an daddy to buy cause they thought, an still think they are fast.

US cops take that all way too seriously.

It isn't a question of having one or not.
Few countries in the world make highways that are set for unlimited speed - the Autobahn in Germany is one of them.
