According to the cartoons, a large bird (called a stork) usually delivers them at your doorstep, before ringing your doorbell and flying away to pick up his next delivery. This can be quite a blessing at times, but sometimes it is a real pain in the azz. He comes every couple years to my place. I wrote the Stork Baby-Delivery Service and told them to take me off their mailing list, but they keep coming! Just like junk-mail; You can't get rid of it no matter how hard you try! I guess it's just tough-sh1t for me at this point!

The Easter Bunny e-mails Santa and they have a big discussion on who gets a baby and when. Then when they decide they consult with the Thanksgiving turkey (Tom) and Mother Goose. When Mr. Tom and Mrs. Goose figure it out they call Uncle Sam to find out the benefits of having a baby altogether. Then Uncle Sam calls in the big guns, "The stork". The Stork is the delivery service. He sometimes hesitates and just drops a baby by mistake. That is why a lot of women are soo surprised. In any case most babies come with firecrackers. That is why the mother screams and deep breathes a lot when they are born. There you have it! That's my story and I am sticking to it. Unless you want the truth.

The joke when I was little was that I was picked from a pumpkin patch! You know that little spot on the top of your head? They told me that was where my stem was! I totally believed them, too....well, atleast until I was, like, 5! :)
