My computer is acting like it doesn't want to charge like it use to. I inspected my charger, and nothing it seems wrong on the outside. When I hold the battery in my hand, it works, but when I set it down, it doesn't. Can I take out my battery without something messing up (Bios, hard disk, memory, stuff on my computer, etc)?

Your battery is probably dead, nothing happens if you take it out. you can buy a replacement one.

I don't know about the hold/put it down thing, BUT I had a Toshiba laptop w/same symptoms, I turned off the computer/unplug it also then used the canned air and sprayed the cooling fans etc all underneath a dust cloud came out and now it's running great, I guess it was getting too hot, yes you can remove the battery just unplug it 1st.

well the battery might be dying and you need a new one because rechargable batterys start to die after a certain amount of charges and yes you can probably take the battery out but i dont know what kind of computer you have because i have a macbook and the battery just pops right out.
