Usually it's me rattling around in there on my own, so female over 90% of the time. Occasionally, though, I'll have the odd mental conversation with a stuffed animal or my beta fish, and then it switches over to a male voice.

Its always female. The voice in my head is like a dj, her voice is cool and calm.

it alternates. It depends on what i'm reading. If it is a novel with different male and female charcters I hear their voices. If it is a normal textbook, usualy female but it depends on teh subject. Male usualy assosiates with english text books, female for history and sometimes sceince.
I'm weird. I know. :D
