I am not good in giving advice.

Is the preposition IN is correct?

"In" is not correct.
"at" is correct.

I am not good at giving advice.

You know, if you're ever uncertain, you can rephrase
and use a construction you're more comfortable with.

My expertise is not advice.
My expertise is not giving advice.

Giving advice is not my strength.
or ...not that I think anyone would say this with a
straight face:

Giving advice is something at which I am not good.

You could get away with that preposition when using informal conversation among friends. By simply changing IN to AT you would never see red ink on your paper.
