LOL, I know I was like what the hell. I think she was just a huge fan and it was exciting for her to see them(her fav idols) live.

How are you, with all respect:
Have you ever felt music absolutely, wholeheartedly? That is what is does to you.
This season's American Idol has tons of healthy "energy" and apparently that girl could feel it. Plus, imagine how awesome it would be for a young teen to be a part of her favorite show.
And if you were the producer, you would definitely encourage the cameramen to look for "appeal-enhancing" material and that was IT.
Good Day

It was a flashback to how girls responded to Elvis and the Beattles. It's a weird phenomenon. It's idol worship gone afoul. You see it all the time in old clips from the huge stars of the 50's and 60's. She was probably just overwhelmed by the emotions of seeing her favorite "celeb" in a live show.

Flashbacks of the Beatles invasion went racing thru my head the first time the camera showed her face, LOL. I think she was just beside herself being there with all her Idols that she'd been watching on tv. The first couple of times was cute but then I got tired of seeing her and at times she wasn't really crying but primping up trying REALLY hard to! LOL

LOL i just watched it and asked the same thing. I think she was just overwhelmed and 'in awe' of the performers. Don't you remember being that age and seeing someone perhaps famous in real life that u saw on tv... even at disneyland or something like that? at the end of the show they had her up on stage and hugging everyone.
us little girls..are emotional u know ;)) lolhave a good nite

She was totally overcome emotionally by the performance, I think ... what I found was strange was that it was SANJAYA that put her over the top. Of course, it's possible she was crying out of pain and fear from his performance lol I know I was. She didn't look that old, either...and did you see her at the end? Sobbing onstage, hugging everyone...someone call security!!!!

yes, even Ryan Seacrest spoke to her and said 'those are tears of joy, right?' I thought maybe she's a big fan and won a contest to be there. Or could be there for the Make-A-Wish foundation, as her 'one thing she would love to do'.

Why was she crying though???
It wasn't like they were ALL bad.
It was like she was just sad about something and couldn't shake it off.
