I read about a book that teaches you how to train yourself how to dream about whatever you want to dream about.

Yes, it's VERY possible. It's called visualization. I've even used it with my kids when they had nightmares... we turned scary ghosts into balloons, wild dogs into little fun puppies, etc.

When you go to sleep for the night, just think of what you'd LIKE to dream about before you drift off... it does work, just takes some practice.

Yes most certainly, because this is how some dreams are created by you conditioning your mind by thinking about certain things over and over and over. Vividly imagine whatever you like and focus on it looking at it in different ways with different themes but stay focussed on he subject. During the day continue to practise this as many times as you can and for as long as you can ... eventually it will make its place in your long term memory and then theres a high likelihood you will begin to dream that dream.

I think if you worry or are stressed or are thinking about a certain topic....you usually dream about it. Some body told me this and I tried it...it really worked. If you look to the left with both eyes right before you fall asleep you will remember all your dreams the next morning! Thats the best i can do!

If you lie and think about something as you are dozing off to sleep there is a good chance you will dream about it. The dream may go somewhat far afield from what you had in mind but the dream will have to do with what you were thinking about.
