I am a very forgiving person if just because I don't want the anger to poison me. There have been a lot of things said to me that were pretty horrible and that I will never forget, but I cannot think of anything I would not forgive. That is not to say I would not end the relationship if he said he cheated or something, but I would not hold a grudge for the rest of my life.

Significant others always know the right buttons to push, what will hurt u the most etc.. so for everyone its different.. basically i cant forgive anything that is said that will always be in the back of my mind wondering if it was a true feeling or just said out of anger.. fortunately for me and my husband, we have a deal... never say anything that u cant take back... plain and simple..

There is nothing I would not forgive my spouse for saying. We all say stupid things. I have said some pretty rotten things, but it's just hurtful talk.

I dont know about what he could say but actions would speak 100 times louder than words. For example, a slap, punch, kick, sex with another, words could not compare. I hate it though when men call women C?n###t

Forgiveness should be unconditional ... but if a pattern repeats you've got to be honest with yourself and realize your other half has some bottled up anger. After all, why else would you say something to hurt someone you love?

If he put me down or called me a name. I show respect to people and I expect it back. If he's going to treat me this way now then he is going to do the same things later on.

I've been married for 15 years. My husband has NEVER remember my birthday. That PISSES me off, because my birthday is the day before his.

I think he does this on purpose because he does not like being told what to do. *sigh*
