I had a bad teacher in the 5th grade. His name was Mr. McLaughlin or however you spell it. Now that I think back on it, the man had a personal problem with me. He would pick on me for no reason and make me stay after school to write 100 times "I will pay attention in class". He was an idiot. He even passed me along to the 6th grade at a lower level then I should have been. But that was ok after a month, my 6th grade teacher put me at the level I was supposed to be at.

I'm just curious to know if YOU thought the teacher was bad, or were you influenced to think he/she was bad by your parents and or friends. The only one I ever had that I thought was bad was one who told me I smiled too much and it would get me in trouble some day - --- - I'm still happy and still smiling, but I think any teacher who would say that it bad.
.
Oh, I'm not saying there aren't some bad teachers, because I know there are - I worked with some of them (but I wasn't bad!).

Yes! My Kindergarten teacher was not the most friendliest of women. My grandmother bought me a new pair of shoes and when I wore them the next day, I slipped and fell in them. She then sent home an note to my mother that I was not allowed to wear them ever again in class because I fell! She was old and kind of "witch" like. But she sure was a damn good teacher and taught us all how to read well!

yes!.. i was in grade 4 at that time. My teacher hated me and my freinds because we were always talking. One time this boy (who was a bully) came to us and started making fun of us, then i was like "go away ur gay", the teacher heard and she started yelling and calling our parents, she made it seem as if we commited a crime. well i know i was wrong and i did apologize to the boy. The thing that made me mad was that some other kid said the same thing , she heard , and he didn't get in trouble.
sometime teachers c an be really mean lol

Two bad ones. One was a gym teacher who handled our homeroom. The other was a woman with an attitude.

I had a really good teacher in 1st and 2nd grade, but in 3rd grade I got the worst one ever! She was an older lady, obviously cause she had a grandchild in our class... guess who was teacher's pet? Well, this teacher really hated me,... or more accurately, my parents! She took out her frustrations on me though in the class room! She used her ruler and her yardstick on me every day! I was forced to stay in the classroom and missed out on lunch and recess unless she was on duty! I never really understood why she hated me so badly... but later on in life I found out that she hated my step dad and they are related! When my mom and dad got married I thought I should get to sign my name on my papers with their last name instead of my own... I wanted to be adopted... but that never happened! My teacher was so angry with me that she would call in my parents for a PTC to show them the papers! One day when she was on recess duty I was allowed to go outside with her, but couldn't ever play with any of the other kids... I had to stay with her all the time! Well, she was distracted by some other kids being bullies or whatever and she wasn't watching me... I decided to run up behind her and pullled off her wig.. she was bald! It was a scary moment for me, I then threw the wig in the biggest trash can by the building and ran for my life... I have no memory of what happened after that! I guess I have always felt like she deserved what she got! We moved to a neighboring town for my 4th grade and I got another older teacher, but she was nice! It was a mean girl in the class that was abusive and beat me up at recess that year! My 5th and 6th grade teachers must have been better cause I have no memory of them at all... except the 6th grade teacher's name sounded like Geese and her hair was bright, bright red! Wow huh! ;0)

I think mine all had bad days and sometimes really badly behaving students, but on the whole, I'd say mine were alright. Some were a lot better than the others, however.

All my elementary school teachers were terrible! Especially my math teachers. It's no wonder I suck at math now!
