Tamara,
You might be right! Most of the time, doctors just go on first date of last menstral period but that is mostly just a guessing game.
When the doctor does an ultrasound, you'll no doubt have a better idea about how far along you actually are.
If you are unsure about when your last period was, they will more than likely perform an ultrasound right off to determine your babys gestation. If you're period was at the first part of January, you probably ARE farther along.
Mama usually knows best!!
Congrats on your pregnancy and best wishes for a healthy baby!!

well you will have to wait till your first u/s which are the most accurate u/s you can get for giving you a due date. also just tell the dr you cant remember exactly when your lmp is. also even though you may think you are 11 weeks becuase of the lmp it is very possible that your still only 7 weeks along because you may have not gotten pregnant when you were suppose to. anyways for you to say you feel movement already wither 7 or 11 it is just to early it is probably gas.

well you will find out for sure when you have your first scan. they will be able to make measurements from head to tail. so don't worry about how far you are right now. just keep taking care of yourself and all will be well. peace

You'll probably have to wait for the US to see exactly how far along you are.
