I have a hard time finding books that I actually like. I have read a few Jane Austen books, and I like them. BESIDES Jane Austen, what are some good authors or books you would reccommend?

I like Henry James very much, as well.

As an Austen fan, I also enjoy Charlotte Bronte and Elizabeth Gaskell. I don't really read any of what I consider "fan fiction" that's been put out on Austen, but I did enjoy the trilogy that Pamela Aiden did of Pride & Prejudice told from Mr. Darcy's point of view. The first book is excellent, the second a bit weird, and the third is pretty good.

No suggestions on Henry James though. Maybe DH Lawrence?

I don't know which Henry James books you've read, but "Washington Square" and "The Portrait of a Lady" are both very good. "Wuthering Heights" by Emily Bronte, "The Tenant of Wildfell Hall" by Anne Bronte, and "A Room with a View" by E.M. Forster are all good as well.
