I would have to say the Man with No Name Trilogy, which consist A Fistful of Dollars, A Few Dollars More, and the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, which they happened to be those "spaghetti" western movies, since these were made by the Italian filmmakers.

You should see Sergio Leone's "Man with No Name" trilogy: 'Fistful of Dollars', 'For a Few Dollars More' and 'The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly' (if you only watch one, this should be it, it's a classic).
I'd also recommend Unforgiven, which is my favorite western ever, and two of his lesser-known films from the 70's: 'Play Misty for Me' and 'The Beguiled'. Hope this helps!

Although I like the "Gauntlet" (with the classic scene of the cops shooting a house to death), you can't go wrong with "The Beguiled" or "The Outlaw Josey Wales"
