Alienware is a top-of-the-line high powered, souped-up machine that is used by die-hard gamers.

For the other 99% of us "regular" computer users who don't have the mucho bucks, DELL does the job just fine, thank you.

DELL computers will give you 90% of the power of Alienware computers at about 2/3 the price.

I have 3 DELL systems at home and they have been very reliable. For surfing, emails, and watching movies/songs, they are plenty fast.

Really depends on what you are looking for. And if its a PC or a Laptop, but really all around Alienware gives you more bang for the buck, but Dell is a nice price on most of their laptops. My advice, Take the time to do some hard research on both companies and make sure you compare computer specs.

Depends on the computer you want and how much your willing to spend, but if I had that extra money to spend, Alienware, hands down for me. Better products, more options, and unlike Dell, you won't get a whole bunch of useless software bundled into your computer

If you area gamer go for Alienware all the way but if you are just using it for web and other stuff go for a Dell which will be good for a casual gamer.
