Go to Florida to visit before going to college there. Or should I just go

its always a good idea to visit a campus before accepting that institution as your choice school. tell your parents that you want to tour some schools in florida and, assuming that you don't live in NYC or Boston or somewhere super far away, they may be willing to take you there. besides, it gives them a pretext to go on vacation ;)

It's aways better to visit before committing to a school. Just because you like the idea of a certain school, doesn't mean it's really the right fit for you. Visiting 3-4 schools before picking one is the best plan for anyone.
