I would like to hope that the philippines as a nation makes progress toward adressing the issues of today as well as those of the future. I believe that there are many possibilities, and I truly hope for the best. I would like to see the children better educated. Preservation of cultural beliefs. The elderly taken care of. The pay rate higher. The job market improved. Increased tourism and foreign relations. I would like to see the bickering between tribes end, and everyone work together to improve the Philippines instead of just their province. Better healthcare. An end to strife between political factions. I would like to see the government without corruption. Cleaner cities. More ecologically sound businesses. These and many more things I would hope happen in the next 15 years.

having doubts in answering this question coz who can tell the future. every election time , always praying and hoping that the next leader will make a difference and uplift the life of all filipinos and restore philippines to it's glory as "pearl of the orient sea", as a great nation. filipinos have to wake up especially our leaders to have a "future" fifteen years from now. or else, i can't see any future ahead of us....

The truth is, it's very scary to think about the future of this country. It's very unstable, not only in terms of government but also the people and it's norms. It's scary to think that the coming generations will have to suffer more. We all just do our best to contribute to our society and hope and pray that we won't get any worse than where we are right now.

Geographically, i bet it will still be where it is now... unless some catastrophic phenomenon pushes the country a few degrees above or below the equator.
But where will the filipinos be 15 years from now... well that's seems trivial as well.

D'un pa rin. But certainly it would be much different,
If you mean the economic status, well "bahala na!"
Many of the "pinoys" are lame. None of them seemed to be able to change.
But being a Pilipino myself, I do want to change.
The 2007 alection is due on May, Maybe that's the when the story will change. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. =^_^=
