Because the past has already occurred. But we can control much of our future by taking what we have learned and preventing us from making many of the same mistakes. We can increase skills if necessary . We have the ability to change directions, partners,, careers, friends, etc.. all to make a better future.

Go-go gadget TIME MACHINE! I mean, come on! You can't turn back the hands of time, so just move on with your life. We all wish we could change things in our lives, but take it as a learning experience. Sometimes things happen for a reason, in life. You may not understand it now, but you will later in life. So, what ever doesn't kill you, it only makes you stronger. Find ways to cope with your situation and move on. Don't waste your whole life sobbing over one situation that you cannot change.
