how do you feel about movies based on real events in general?

hotel rwanda can be applied to life this minute because its an event that has taken place within the last year. its a very serious movie. when people watch this movie they need to understand the seriousness of the events taking place in the movie. i was on the edge of my seat many times during the movie. i watched it in my history class last year and EFVRYONE was moved.

i only had the chance to watch the blood diamond movie starred by leonardo dicaprio and the african actor who did very well in the amistad movie..the movie was so moving because it showed what family should really be about especially the love of a father(which really hit a spot),and the effects of war on children..what bothered me the most was the despicable way man could treat his fellow man out of greed and power..

***IT REALLY DEPENDS ON THE MOVIE. IF YOU HAVE NOTICED, THAT MOST MOVIES THAT ARE BASED ON REAL LOFE EVENTS ARE TRAGEDIES. VERY RARELY WILL YOU SEE A MOVIE BASED ON TRIUMPH. IF THE MOVIE IS SAD THEN IT MAKES ME FEEL SAD, IF IT'S UPLIFTING, THEN THAT'S HOW I FEEL AS WELL.***
