The company or whomever takes a used laptop and makes it new again. like the hardrive, outside.. not exactly positive. Apple has a lot of refurbished stuff you could get for a lot cheaper; theyre good as new.

Refurbished means that, a previous customer bought it brand new and had a problem with it , returned it to the manufacturer and they have restored it or repaired the problem. Its not brand spankin new, but new parts, so they call it refurbushed.

It means make sure you get a warranty & guarantee that it will be working in 6mt's to a year. Your best bet is to go either with a little guy local shop so you know that you can go back with any problems or with a big vendor who will replace/fix the laptop to get you to stop bugging them.
