I'm going to University of Florida next year and there's mandatory preview coming up and I'm wondering what I should wear. I'm not usually into clothes. I'm a basketball player so usually I'm real casual (as in basketball and a wife beater) but I think that for college I might need to do something different. What do you think would be a good idea and please don't say "just be yourself and wear nikes" unless you mean it. Thanks!

I would suggest you dress comfortably, in whatever you feel comfortable about.

How long is it? Is there a schedule? You might have to do a lot of walking, moving around, so being in a formal outfit probably won't go too well. Dress accordingly to the weather.

That said, don't go grungy either! You will be probably meeting potential classmates and professors--so don't wear dirty clothing or clothing that's falling apart--no need to embarass yourself.

Don't stress too much about it, it's not a job interview. The school will be wining and dining YOU to convince you to come to their school. :) If it doesn't go well or you decide not to go otherwise, it's a loss to the school because they have to get another applicant to come and pay their tuition and fees.

Good luck! Congrats!

An orientation isn't some thing you will possibly desire to flow over the precise for--i think of which you will possibly desire to play it casual cool. purely flow away your hair down at as quickly as and placed on a gorgeous tee and a few denims (skinny denims artwork the final). solid luck! :D

Stick with what you think is comfy... They really don't care what you look like or what you wear. As long as you pay your tuition on time, No one will notice your wife beater.

You don't have to dress up. It's just basic stuff. The only exception is if you are getting interviewed for scholarships or something like that.
