I always take actions first because it helps me straighten things out with confrontations...otherwise you sit there and wonder...It makes me become straight foward with people. And that is who I am...

I suspect that when I was very young, consequences didn't occur to me. I consider every action (or inaction) with my belief that the consequences are not only important to me, & to the person/s with whom I transact, but continue as an infinite chain, from one to another to another....& I cannot imagine being responsible for less than a very strong, & positive chain. (To the best of my ability, of course.) A provocative question that I hope will give others thought.
Edit: My feeling is that when we are young, we don't "think" about consequences; it's not a matter of "choice." I also believe there is a "balance" yet in that balance, all involved are considered as profoundly relevant.

I didn’t always think of the consequences of my actions and when I did, I would sometimes ignore it because it would stop me from doing what I wanted. As the years went by, as I entered the world of adulthood, I started paying more attention to my conscious and stopped ignoring it. Most people are selfish and thinking before acting often make people change their ways so they don’t. My life has changed, I am no longer a victim of consequence since I THINK before doing most things. Have a beautiful life, and keep evolving; it’s the only food that will make your soul grow.

I think I've always lived consciously knowing that my actions would have some type of reaction. But I am trying to decide at what point I cared what the reaction would be. I was always seeking approval from my parents so I made good decisions with them - but not necessarily with friends. And honestly my good decisions for my parents were probably not good decisions for me - so I guess the answer would be No.

Sometimes I think too much about the consequences and that held me back from making some changes in my life that could actually be good for me. I guess it´s a matter of balance.
Best of luck :)

Yes, I usually don't have time to think about the consequence while I'm acting! And for me usually the acting comes instantaneously so there really isn't a "before". Ok well that's how I am :-)

Every night as I lay in bed, I review conversations and actions in my head. I think to myself, "why did I say that?" make improvements on myself and move on, so I think I do put a lot of weight on my actions towards people... socially, I mean. But as far as everyday life? Like weather or not it'll hurt if I touch the iron too see if its hot? not so much. people are more important... i do wish i thought things like that out first, though. that iron hurt!

I did some things as a teenager that I look back on and think, "What was I thinking?" like speeding excessively and not wearing a seatbelt. But I guess that's what teenagers do, (not always consider the consequences, that is.)

Of course,I care about the consequences of everything I do.. for I know that everything in my life depends on how I shape my life today.. evry mistakes allow me to be strong and also to learn something but it is not always the situation.. we must not master ourselves in our sins and mistakes but to be perfect in our very best way.. I hope I am able to answer you correct..
