I don't think I'd be embarrassed about much of the music I listen to, but I do get made fun of because I like Aqua and the Spice Girls on occasion. Bubblegum pop is just plain silly, and sometimes I want to feel silly :)

couple of my friends, when i'm DJing, and get caught out with "dead air" either sing 'dead air, dead air' etc. to the tune of the pink panther theme, or they'll break into Mah-na-mah-na by that Muppets (that is how it's spelled should you ever find need of it, lol). so the last time i got delayed by something, they started in on the Muppet song. i fled back to the stage and played Mah-na-mah-na to riotous results. they were unaware i'd gotten it and slipped it into my library of songs.

iv always liked 'my happy ending' and 'don't tell me' by Avlril Lavigne, and i usually don't listen to that kind of music, so im usually embarassed to tell people about this.... i mean there are reasons to why this is my fav song, without them, idont' think i'll have her on my ipod.
