lol - Hard work and skill don't mean anything if the boss has a friend or family member that needs a job!

I learned on my first job that the managers are not always good people. I worked at Dairy Queen and my manager there turned out to be embezzling from the company.

I learned that not everyone has a competitive nature like I do and that some people are really offended by a little friendly competition (even if the competition was the company's idea.)
