Encarnacion or Ensberg. Ensberg is having a huge spring and could be a nice source of pop. Encarnacion is going to be great.

There are a few on this list that I wouldn't mind having on my own team:
1. Ensberg - had a great year 2 years ago and played hurt all last season which was a cause for his dropoff... look for him to turn it around this year and hit somewhere around 30-35 HRs with 40 HRs not out of the question
2. Teahen - was having a great second half last year before he was injured and out for the year... he'll also be available in the OF this year as he's going to play LF... he'll put up some solid numbers again but nothing great as KC has a weak lineup
3. Lowell - never gets much mention here, but overall his numbers are pretty solid across the board... .284 AVG, 20 HRs, 80 RBIs, 79 Runs... and the fact that he hits in a nice lineup in a great ballpark
I would pick up the guys in the order i have them listed with Ensberg your top choice...
i see a lot of mention of Ed Encarnacion - but personally i would stay away from him... he strikes out way too much and didn't even hold onto the 3B position last year as guys like Aurilia were playing for him... plus the stats he put up were nothing special.. something like 15 hrs and 8 SBs... he may do better this year... but i would take more a sure thing before i went with him

Some meat left on that bone.
There are a few good choices on the list. Edwin Encarnacion would be my choice. He has proven to be pretty consistent on avg and his power just keeps improving along with his speed. He may be the pick up of the year. I intentionally left the 3B spot open in several drafts to load up on OF's knowing that I could get him in the 10th round or later.
Ensberg is supposedly over his injury problem, but I would wait to see if it was a bum shoulder or a bum player. If he returns to his production you will see a HR every 3 1/2 games or about 17 AB's. If he starts that trend you might want to pick him up. Teahen has an upside but is a little inconsistent, he could have a break out year as he starts the year in a more stable position with the team. Inge goes in spurts, his overall numbers will look good but his BA can drag you down, Leyland has been pushing every player to forget BA and hit HR's so don't look for an upside to his BA or OBP. Huff is in a good position to make a big comeback and his multiple position eligibility is a bonus, his numbers make him a solid option. Feliz is just old and his BA and OBP go down every year. Aurilia is older and his numbers went up, expect that to be the peak for him. He now plays in the black hole in SF so his power numbers should drop significantly. I would say it's about time to pull the plug on the Upton experience, even TB imported a 3B from Japan - speaking of which, you left off a free agent, Akinori Iwamura, he has been intimidated by MLB pitching so far but he could provide a solid option later this year as well. Mike Lowell is interesting, I have used him as a back up for a very specific purpose. He hits better on the road and against RHP - I play him in a H2H league that counts 2B's and only play him on the road against RHP. I win 2B's every time.
The rest are pretty worthless.

Hey, I play fantasy baseball myself and here are my suggestions: My first choice would definitely be Brandon Inge. I just think he's a solid overall player and will get you points in just about everything, minus stolen bases. If you don't agree and stolen bases are important for you because you have a lack of them, my next choice would probably be Upton, followed by Teahen. Kevin Youkilis is good if you need runs, and he's decent at everything else, plus he can play first base and left field. If you need RBIs, go for Feliz. I would avoid the rest. It all depends on what you need, but in my opinion definitely take Inge. I don't know why everyone else is suggesting Encarnacion, I think he's really overrated and isn't particularly good at anything; I'd say definitely avoid him. Inge is the best overall, followed by Youkilis. Hope this helps.

I would go with Edwin Encarnacion. I really think the Reds will put him in a position to produce good numbers. Brandon Inge is a great ball player and in the real world i would go wuth that, but a fantasy team is about numbers so Encarnacion is more likely to have good numbers

None of those are good? Huh? Well, Inge is up there but extremely inconsistant.
Morgan Ensberg is really expected to be hot this year. During regular season, he is usually a top5 and very consistant. Its the playoffs where he is shaky, go with Morgan.
Good luck!

Id say Inge, purely judging off last years performance. Another one to keep an eye on as the season starts is the Cleveland Indians 3B. Whether its Casey Blake or Andy Marte, they're both suppose to be pretty good offensively this year.

Edwin Encarnacion by far because he is a young stud who can hit homers, steal bases, and is a great glove at 3rd. I'd take him but go with your gut.
