That would depend on Sri Lanka's match with Bangladesh. If Sri Lanka beat Bangladesh, then India will qualify for the Super 8 if they manage to beat Sri Lanka in their upcoming match. India could also advance if Bangladesh lose their remaining 2 matches, since the top two teams from each group qualify for the Super 8.

There are some chances that India will enter in the super 8 even after wining the Srilanka match.

as i m proud to be an indian i hope india must will win the match vs srilanka & eventually if india win the match they will enter in the super 8 in the world cup. Hope so,

If India beats Sri Lanka, India will have 4 points. If Sri Lanka beats Bangladesh, they will also have 4 points. If Bangladesh beats Barmuda, they will also have 4 points. Since only 2 teams can enter super 8, net run rate will be taken into account for deciding the two teams to enter the Super 8. In order to better their run rate further, India will have to beat Sri Lanka with big margin.

Possibility. If India beats Sri Lanka, Sri Lanka beats Bangladesh and Bangladesh beats Bermuda than it's going to be a three way tie. I think they'll look at the net run rate if this happens and based will be decision of who's going to super 8.

If they beat Sri Lanka they will have the best NRR at that stage which will be very difficult for others to overtake.Even if India has the second best overall NRR it will qualify.
So even a simple win will take India into super 8.(99%)

if india win the srilanka match(only in dreams),then they have a little chances to advance.bangladesh need to beat bermuda on a strong margin to equal india's net run rate.if bermuda bats first,then bangladesh has very few chances to get closer to india's net run rate.india must definately win over sri lanka

If Sri Lanka beat Banga & loose India. with a low margin, chances are very less. Bcs Banga will beat Bermuda with a big margin. Sri Lanka as at now having a better run rate int he group.
If Sri Lanka loose to Banga & win over India. then definite blow for India. so You Indians pray for Sri Lankas victory.
