personally, i think so... seems to me it is impossible that we are the only living species (besides animals)
how can we be the ONLY planet with living species.... when there are so many planets out there. the galaxy is so huge, we don't even know how huge it is, since we havent traveled even that far??
it makes me think so much.

I too believe that aliens exist in outer space
The probability of there only being one planet capable of sustaining intelligent life is insanely small.
I don't see how it is possible for them to not exist.
I actually think there are many different aliens species in many different stages of life.... some more primative and some less primative than us.

So far we've seen no verifiable evidence of other sentient species. That said, I believe with some certainty that somewhere in our galaxy at some past, present, or future time, a sentient species did/does/will exist.
Why haven't we heard from them?
Perhaps they are not technologically advanced enough to be heard. They may be mastering stone knives right now, or experiencing their own Rennaisance.
Perhaps they are here right now. Any species sufficiently advanced to travel interstellar distances would be able to hide or masquerade with ease. That Boeing 737 that just flew by may be a surveillance craft.
Perhaps they are so far away they will never notice us and vice versa.
Perhaps they existed a million years ago and died out.
Perhaps they will exist a million years from now.
It is really impossible to know for sure.
The Drake Equation suggests that there is sentient life out there. The Fermi Paradox casts doubt. Play around with the calculation form at the second link and see what you think.

There is no doubt in my mind! I am sure there was intelligent life in the universe before the Earth was even created! Man is just too naive to think that life could be far more intelligent! Look in the sky! Most people dont realize what a galaxy is! Our milky way galaxy in which our solar system resides has an estimated 200 billion suns! An estimate of how many galaxies are in the universe is said to be as many galaxies as all the grains of sand on all the beaches on the planet Earth! What do YOU think?

Yes. And your train of thought is logical. The galaxy is huge, over 100 billion suns, and our next door neighbor, the Andromeda Galaxy, is twice as large. There are at least 12 galaxies in our local group, including the Magellanic Clouds that can be seen from the southern hemisphere. This is just our local group. This group of galaxies of which our Milky Way is just one, is moving toward a group of galaxies known as the Virgo Cluster because one looks towards the constellation Virgo to see this cluster of hundreds of galaxies. This cluster in turn is being drawn towards the Virgo Supercluster, a collection of tens of thousands of galaxies. This group also has a movement toward a great wall of galaxies that is but just one filament of the cosmic sponge of billions of galaxies that make up the visible universe. The "visible" distinction is because we are limited by how far light has been able to travel in the estimated 14.5 billion years that the universe has existed. There may well be galaxies beyond this boundary. So yes, to think we are the only intelligent beings in our universe is as misguided as to think that everything revolves around the earth, as was thought in not too recent times. This "geocentric" view of the universe was finally laid to rest with such minds as Copernicus and Newton.
I am glad it makes you think much.

Hi,
I don't believe in UFO's coz I've never seen one, never been convinced of one having been here.. and frankly find it laughable that people even believe in things like CROP CIRCLES which are clearly man made!!
The few photos out there of aliens on operating theatre have no bona fides and are thus not scientifically admissable..
There has also never been any credible example of an alien space craft having landed, been spotted or proven spotted.. let alone been touched and physically witnessed.. there's only a bunch of grainy photos which after so many years.. becomes rather tiresome

Obviously aliens are there in outer space. Have you ever thought its not possible for us only to live in this universe, alone? Moreover to aliens (what humans temed as) we are also aliens and they might be asking the same question in their Kaboo! Bnswers: Do you think there are Zliens (that's what they say) out there somewhere??

I think that there is life outside of our solar system. Like on Earth there are good civilizations and bad ones. Let's hope that by the time we discover them (or they discover us), we will have learned more about respecting each other as a global society on Earth!

If there are aliens out there, we cannot get to them nor can they get to us.
Man has never landed on the moon, either.
The radiation would kill us if we left the Earth's atmosphere.
There are 7 Heavens, we are on the first.
The 2nd Heaven is above us, we cannot travel through it, only marvel at its beauty. We can send probes attached with cameras, sure and appreciate the physical beauty and confirm our faith that there is a higher being that created all this.
We should look forward to death from this world as we will then be able to travel through the 2nd Heaven.
When we die, we mighty die physically, but we will live on into the 2nd Heaven, in spirit.
Perhaps die again in the 2nd Heaven and get transfered into the 3rd Heaven and into the 4th Dimension and so on and so on until we get to the 7th Heaven and the day of Reckoning when we will all stand in front of HIM.
