Nope--and here's how:
Use you regular skincare--clean, tone, moisturize. THen wait until your moisturizer dries, about 5 minutes (go eat breakfast). Then apply your sunblock liberally. Wait again (Maybe do your hair now). Now you can apply your foundation and it will not move all day!
And OMG!! Do not use hairspray over your eyeliner! Blindness may ensue! Just trace over your liner with a matching shadow! Sheesh!
By the way--Ocean Potion sunblock is great and cheap and dries fast, and Prescriptives foundations are really light and won't smear.

I wouldn't say that sunblock ruins your makeup, but it does leave your makeup more prone to smudging later in the day. The reason for this is that sunblock tends to be a bit greasy, some more than others, so while foundation should less noticeably smudge, you will look like a raccoon at the end of the day when your eyeliner smudges. To prevent this you try water-proof makeup or after applying your eyeliner, take a cotton swab, spray some hairspray on it and apply it over your eyeliner. Good luck :P

No, it won't ruin your makeup. Some sunblocks can be kind of oily, so if you already have oily skin your makeup might slide a little. Some sunblocks also may cause foundations to be a little off-color especially on darker women because they leave a whitish cast on the face. Buying a good quality sunblock should alleviate this problem though.

I don't think so. However, I don't like it because it tends to give my skin a greasy feeling.
However, if you do choose to do so I would suggest purchasing sunblock from one of the higher quality make up lines such as Clinique or Sheseido.

Any SPFs under makeup are fantastic for your face.. I totally support preventative anti-aging routines! but if you're really worried about it, I suggest finding a primer with an SPF of 15 in it, so it'll keep your make up fresh AND give you the protection you need! goodluck :)

No, it won't ruin your makeup. However, most foundations are made with SPF, so check and make sure you don't already have SPF in your foundation (in which case you wouldn't need added sunscreen).

No, it won't. I would recommend trying a foundation with sunscreen to get two steps in one. I like Neutrogena's Healthy Skin Enhancer.

I've never had that problem. I've been wearing an SPF 30 face cream every day for years.
