You do dream. You just don't remember them. Sleep cycles run where you are in a lighter sleep, where you dream, then a deeper sleep where you don't dream, and then back to a lighter sleep. I think these cycles are 90 minutes in length and continue the entire time you are asleep.
You might try this exercise. After you lay down and before you go to sleep, mentally tell yourself to remember your dreams. It may take a few nights of doing this but, eventually, you should start remembering them. Keep a pad of paper and pencil/pen next to your bed. When you first wake up, see if you remember any dreams and write them down. The more dreams you write down, the more you will remember. I read this somewhere and, believe me, it works because I have done it myself.
Hope this helps!!

people always dream at least 5 dreams per night on average. Maybe you are tired or some other reason. You can program yourself before going to bed.. Relax, with your hand facing upwards, and take long big breaths..until you feel you are falling asleep.. Then before entering the alpha state, you can program to remembering your dream. You give an order to your brain, and usually this will happen.. You can also even awake after each dream and write down in a piece of paper next to your bed.. Many things can be done in alpha state, in an subconscious but alert level state of the mind, where programming may be done. Then your subconscious will remember what it has to do...

hello.. i want to give answer to your question based on what I wee studied on psychology.. dreaming is part of what we call REM or paradoxical stage.. we often not remember the dreams we encounter bcoz of the fact that dreaming stays for only a minute or even a second so we are not able to remember it.. but to ur problem that u were not able to experience dreams well it might be ur problem.. there are several factors u can do to build ur self a very beautiful dreamm.. just listen to me.. shower every not.. it might be lukewarm water or hot.. and also drink hot milk which may help you sleep sound.. and if urr not totally having any dream maybe u are not energize bcoz u weren' able to reach that degree.. and REM is the point which really enrgize you and the evidence that you reach that stage is DREAMING.. I hope I was able to answer ur question..

It is a proven fact that everyone dreams every night. The dreams you are most likely to remember are the ones that you have in REM sleep, which is the deepest stage of sleep. Perhaps you are not getting enough REM sleep, or other factors can also have an impact. One that I am sure of off the top of my head is the use of marijuana. Its been shown that people who use weed dont dream, so if you get high, that could be why.

It is possible that you are just like so. The other thing can be that you are not seriously active during the day. When I was in high school and was very interested in math, I use to solve problems in my dream. Even now when I have a real life problem, I dream about it.
I suggest you become actively involved in all that you do.

I am pretty sure that you ALWAYS dream, you just probably never remember them. I know how you feel, I kinda went through the same thing. At night I close my eyes and pretend that I am in a bubble, floating just above the ocean. I think very imaginative things, and I have very imaginative dreams. So I think that you will start remembering your dreams, in a while. (Hopefully only the GOOD ones!!)

You simply do not remember your dreams because the memories of dreams are very weak. If you did not dream you would become psychotic within days.
Every person with motivation can learn to recall dreams. If you are interested, I'd recommend any book by Jeremy Taylor.

Prehaps you never enter a deep enough state. REM ( Rapid Eye Movement) is a good sign someone is in a deep sleep. Deb

You are dreaming--you just can't remember the dreams---
Concentrate on remembering and you should be able to recall something. Concentrate before you fall asleep---
