and have actually gotten a response? list the names and whether or not they answered. i wanna know cus i've been thinking of sending this person a "good work" sort of letter, and since they're not that big yet, i wanna try sending a fan letter, but i've never done that before. i wanna hear some experiences. and also just for the fun of it. :-D

About 7ish years ago, around there somewhere, I sent a fan letter to Joshua Morrow, aka "Nick" on The Young and The Restless. I did receive a letter back. I also got an autographed picture of him in a wedding photo with his wife in the story. (Sharon, if you watch, before they had him marry Phyllis.) The letter had a whole bunch of info about him, like fave stuff, bro and sisters, and the band he was in at the time.
I believe before the celeb gets to be a big name is the best time to send them a letter, when they still have time to answer, and before their egos get too big to care. lol :P

I babysit my 5 year old niece and have been trying to help her learn to write and stuff. I thought it would be cool for her to write a letter to santa. She liked writing that letter and actually asked if we could write to Johnny Depp. I was so proud lol. I found a fan mail address and we wrote him. We didn't get anything back though. I wrote her a letter as "Johnny Depp" and she was so thrilled heh...
I've written to actor Robert Englund. More commonly known as Freddy Krueger from the Nightmare on Elm Street films. I was sent a autograph from him saying "to the most awesome fred head, mary " I thought that was neat because in my letter I said that I'd been a total fred head since i was about 5. lol.

i've sent it to betty white, brett somers, and barbara mandrell...and all three sent me their autographs. you might not know brett somers and betty white they might have been before your time but their both actresses. barbara mandrell is my role model and has been since i was a little girl. she's a country singer, now retired though. their autographs are hanging on my wall. i did send a letter to sandra bullock but never got a reply. some celebs are so big that they dont have the time nor the capability to reply to every fan letter.

well i get fan mail all the time.
i do reply to some. especially where they color the envelopes and they decorate stuff. i post them in my rooms sometimes.
i usually don't get to write much
