There are several different reasons.
Because it's a very erotic sight to see. It's visually arousing for some.
Some guys have the "idea" that they could convert a lesbian into liking guys.... the ultimate ego trip. These are the ignorant types who probably turned the woman lesbian in the first place.
Then there are the guys who fantasize about having a 3 some with two lesbians. These guys are kinda naive. Lesbians aren't attracted to men, so the possibility of a 3 some is nil.
Then there are us smart guys who like bi-sexual woman.

Some guys think that deep down women really do just want a man. So if women were having sex together the man could join in and be a big stud and satisfy the women.

To a degree. Just to have fun with and possible a temp relationship; but never to seriously get involved with or get married! Just to have great sex. No marriage or long term commitment. Statistics and surveys show that those relationships never work in the long run. Besides its highly immoral.

Most just find it appealing sexually to see two girls together, because it has always been a fantasy of sorts to be included in the "activities" so to speak.

It's not just men that have those fantasies! lol. Anyways...when they see two beautiful women, kissing and doing things together, it's just a turn on. One beautiful women is nice, but two is even better!
