I agree with the other folks that say you have to see what works for you. Most skin care products have exactly the same active ingredient, so you would think they would all do the same thing. However, the inactive ingredient mixtures are different, and that causes different products to work for different people. I personally grew up on AVON, and it worked great for me. However, when my AVON lady passed away, I didn't want to move on to a new one, so I started using ClearSkin. My skin wasn't too happy at first and broke out a lot, but then once it got used to the chemical change, I found that the ClearSkin actually worked better than the AVON ever had. So, I hope this helps, but I think you'll just have to do two-week trials of the products untill you see one that really works for you.

Both brands carry some nice products to help keep skin free of blackheads and close pores. I have been very impressed by the new Avon products, so I personally have been using them. Just remember after washing your face with warm water to use a cool or clod rinse on your face. The warm water opens pores and the cold water closes them. Good luck I'm sure that you will find the perfect product to help you.

Its true that you have to see what works best for you its best to stick with one brand at a time. Each skincare and makeup brand has a different ph. Therefore if you use a combination of brands the different ph levels will wreak havoc on your skin. All Avon skincare and makeup has the same ph level. Go to http://www.youravon.com/lchetkauskas for products descriptions. You can e-mail me from there and I can send you the link to create your personal profile to see what avon products will work best for you.

you have to try them out yourself and see which one works best for you. our skins all differs and so it doesnt mean if it works for us it would work for you too...
biore? do you mean Kao Biore? the brand normally with Kao is very small font and Biore with normal font? haha... Biore's pore strip sucks. it can pull nothing out of my blackhead infested nose. I've used quite alot of different brands of pore strip and literally nothing worked until i found Missha. it's a korean brand and i'm not sure if you can get your hands on that at your area. if not, try home remedy. egg white soaked cotton pads are good for removing blackheads! but make sure as it dries up, it TOTALLY adheres to your skin and only remove it when it hardened. alot of work, yes. but it works. to close pores, get a pore refining cream or pore minimiser cream. try not to use loreal. though i've never used their pore refining cream yet, but previous experience with their other products has only serve to disappoint me.

Don't use the pore strips to remove blackheads. While they appear to work at first they actually stretch the pores and damage them, making them more noticable, and more prone to further blackheads and pimples.

Biore would be ok. But still it depends on your skin type. Better still find products that are mild .
