This is for anyone who followed the guy in St Louis or DC...

As a Bears fan that used to date a Rams fan, I remember a slow safety who cand cover but supports the run decently.

Appreciate your insight.

Thanks for the insight that an NFL athlete is above average compared to the rest of us. Really? Thanks for that! Are nuclear physicists smarter than the average person too?
Cmon... keep it in context next time.

He is not a bad player. Archuletta made a huge mistake by signing with the Redskins. I think it was John Clayton who said that he was totally wrong for the type of defense that the Redskins play. They tried to use him more as a cover guy, and while he's a great hitter, he is not a guy you want out there one-on-one with a receiver. As a result, he barely played. I think he'd be good as an extra defensive back, and maybe even come in on rushing downs, playing linebacker. Archuletta is not a star, but he could still be a very solid player if used properly.

He was pretty good in St Louis..... He got Madden ratting of 90 and he was picked in the first round (20th pick) He was part of the 2002 Rams which went to the Super Bowl..... When the Rams traded him to the Redskins, his covering skills became bad...

Redskins traded Archuleta for the Bears 6th round pick.......

I hope he gets better cuz he still is a young guy he is 29 or 30..... And he could still play for about 5 years. I liked him when he was in college too.....

He got hung out to dry alot in DC, saftey cant always make the plays especially when there is not corner help. He is more of a Williams type player he will knock you th f@#$ out, but making the key pick is unlikely.
