Is this normal and okay? I went to unplug it, and in the middle of the charger is the box and it was really hot.
I'm pretty sure that when I had charged it before in a different spot, it wasn't that hot.

It's normal for chargers to overheat because the amount of current it is converting. For example, if your outlet is 240V the charger wouldn't be that hot, but if it was more than 240V then it will eventually be hot. But the charger is designed to convert the current strong enough to charge the battery.

It's harmless. I've personally never seen anything bad come of it, nor heard of it happening to anyone else.

It gets hot. Don't worry. Works that way when it is working.

when i charge my cell phone it gets really hot too..
dont worry, your computer will be alright..unless it bursts into flames and burns your house down.......ughhh =] [?]
