I am definitely a people person. Some I can take with a grain of salt, others I love being with. So certainly, I have a lot of friends in real life. Sharing ideas is a good way of making friends and staying in touch with.
On Yahoo? I would have to say that I have made sincere attempts to make friends, and have succeeded in many cases. But, it becomes a problem when you run out of things to say, and have to make an effort to remain connected. Sooner or later most of these, "friendships" fall to the way side. Out of sight, out of mind, so to speak. If you accept this up front, then the disappointment is not so bad. Expectations, as they say, reduce joy.
Nothing can ever replace, the in person, touchy-feely kind of friendship. So wanna come over and be my friend? LOL

I don't have any friends on Yahoo! Answers so the answer to your strange question is... NO!
No need to feel too pathetic though.

Haha, unfortunately it does seem like that sometimes! I never thought of it before but yes, I would say it's pretty pathetic.
