why do i feel i just hurt the feelings of someone i care very deeply for ??

I'm sure you ever it was... appreciated your honesty.. very much... you feeling like you hurt them is a normal feeling... but if they are a very understanding person ... im sure this person will have no problem with it.... Good Luck.... i'm sure this person will still be around....

The truth hurts sweety. No matter what, I have learned that telling the truth helps out soooo much. Imagine if you lied then later that someone you care for found out the truth... then either way that person gets hurt but if you lied then she found out, thats even worse in my opinion.
Ive been thro hell and back when I lied one time about something I shouldnt have and then later found out if I had just told the truth about it, I wouldnt have gotten into any trouble!

They say it's better to tell a lie that brings a smile than a truth that brings a tear, but IMHO it's the other way around. If you can't trust someone to be honest you probably can't trust them for much else, either. As old-fashioned as it may sound, I believe very strongly that a person's word is their bond.

Because the truth hurts. Just try not to go out of your way to make it hurt. What I mean is just because people are honest doesn't make the things they might do right.

Because telling the truth is not always easy so we sometimes slink away from it, or dodge it all together...not so wise...honesty is the best policy, don't compromise it either.

because, while honesty can sometimes hurt, its better than not being honest. because now you know you did the right thing.. and maybe the person whose feelings are hurt will see that too..
