Start here to cleanup your computer...
One should do a disk cleanup everyday and defrag two or three times a week if the computer is used moderately.
1. You may need to do a Disk Cleanup..and be sure you have all the boxes checked....
2. Defrafg your C drive or whatever is your main harddrive... Make sure you have selected the C Drive.... This is called a Disk Defragmenter...
For both go to :
Start...
programs..
accessories...
system tools..
Do this often...
3. Then go to your.. My Documents... Or wherever you keep you personal documents. Right click on each folder, select properties and see what size they are. When you add them up you might find that KBs turn into MBs and they turn into GBs real fast. So you may need to delete what you dont want and burn what you want to CDs. Music, Videos, High quality photos take up tons of space.
4. Some software can take up to 1/2 Gig or more of space. Go through your old software and remove any you are not using. Including any software products that may have come with your computer that you are not using. Check through your ..Add or remove programs in the control panel. I hope this helps some.
Good Luck

ps. I used go smile. It didn't really work. Actually I'm a little worried cause if you use teeth whitners too much they say your teeth start to look "clear" like see through. And I have noticed on my bottom teeth the tips are clear :0( Really I think you are better off using hydrogen peroxide as a mouth wash, like I use to before I used go smile, use everyday and not only will it kill germs it will whiten your teeth. Plus it's 99 cents in most stores!
Take it from someone that thought I could get a quick fix from go smile and was so fooled by the commericals I ordered it twice thinking I must not have used it enough. The tooth paste that comes with it is also over priced waste of time.

Go to Documents and Settings. There should either be a list of the users who have access to the computer or only you but it depends entirely on how people have accounts on the computer. Open each account and all the folders in every one of them. Each account has a folder called 'Temp' and 'Temporary Internet Files', that stores recently viewed websites and downloaded files from the web. Depending on how your version of Windows was installed, the 'Temp' and 'Temporary Internet Files' are hidden deep within other folders, but they are really there.

There's a very easy way to get rid of all your temp files, but it involves using the "Command Prompt". Don't get scared off by that, as it's not hard to do at all.
First, go to "Start", then "Programs", then "Accessories", then click on "Command Prompt". Once that window appears, type this in: CD \ (and hit enter).
Now type in (exactly as shown),
DEL /S *.TMP (and hit enter). Now just sit back and watch all the temp files get deleted.
Now, as to the second part of your question, to help your pc run better, I recommend going to the site for a free program called "Advanced Windows Care Personal" at the below listed link. Once there, download the free version by clicking on the bar that says "Get Freebie". Once it's downloaded, install it and run it. It does a very good job of getting rid of "junk" and helping to speed up and help your pc run better. Hope this helps.

Go to Start==>All Programs==>Accessories==>System Tools==>Disc Cleanup. Select the drive you want cleaned and click OK. It will list files on your PC that can be deleted...temp files among them.

Assuming this is a Windows machine, a popular (and free) utility to clean temporary files and other junk off of computers is a program called "Crap Cleaner". You can download it from here: http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/

Well now you better know how to do what you want to do.
I recommend that you learn with patience if you don't know how to see you temp files and how to get rid of them.
Which you can do safely with help from your computer.
First go to start and go to my computer and right click of your c: drive and go to properties and you will see an option below that says Disk cleanup. click it and let it work until it finishes, then it will show the files you can safely delete.
If you can get there then we can go to the second step. Let me know.
