Who is more responsible? The person typing the racist questions or the people that give them the reaction they wanted, just inciting more racist questions?

I mean come on here people, most of these questions come from a couple of profiles that can easily be matched up to the same person. They arent making any real difference by asking the stupid questions. But the more people respond the more they post. So again who is worse the troll or the people continually feeding it to keep it close by?

Why do people completely miss the point? Im NOT saying people cant say whatever they want.
I simply asked who you thought was worse the person asking the racist Qs or the people who give them the reaction they were looking for.

First, I have to say, "I love your question." It takes insight to see the bigger issues.

Racism is fueled by ignorance (as it appears you already know) . By your question alone, you are educating the ignorant.

They are asking because they don't know. In our culture we are sent very mixed messages, especially concerning race relations. We are told to our face that racism is bad, even in our laws we say we can not discriminate based on race alone. However, in the day to day occurrences we are sent a very different oppositional message.

For example, compare how 911 was handled to how hurricane Katrina was handled. In the news, one news station said that the (white) evacuees were searching for food in a flooded store, where the (black) evacuees where looting the store.

Feel blessed that you can see though the crap, most people can't. They are trained to believe what they hear and get confused when they receive mixed messages.

Hie everyone and Hie katy -:

I understand Ur concern, what U say has more truth then the bible. But thats the phenomenal prejudice of the Internet. Its Cyberspace dear.

It happens in many forums and blogs everywhere, having about 5 email addresses one can easily come in and go under many disguises. Questions can be created and answered by the same person with only one intension -: to get people the message and to keep alerting and rephrasing the situation, phenomena and conditions of who's good, who rules, who is the boss and who's on the top

Only yahoo can identify this using their IP - and only they can do something about it here.

Obviously U can do something about it - In the real world when a racist attcks verbally there is almost nothing can be done we just have to absorb with gandhian attitude but here its never like that - U play the same game give them their own medicine - U attack this freeken cowards with thier vulnerabilities.

Finaly all I have to say is only those who have plenty of time to waste in such stufs can do it. I dont have such time I'm a busy person and those who have time for these are those have I guess what could be their career

I am guilty of answering the HORRIBLE questions on here. I suppose I am just as low (well not just as low, but low) as the racists hicks that spit the hate out. I suppose I feel an obligation to stand up and let it be known that it's offensive - NO MATTER WHAT - if it's a little kid doing it - or a grown man just trying to make me mad. Being racist is NOT funny at all. Ever. I will always stand up for myself - it's the way it is.

The people typing the racist stuff themselves...They have bad intentions. The people feeding it are just trying to stop it. But they're still part of the problem.

I ignore those kinds of posts, they are just ignorant. When you react to a situation like that you give the racist the power. So whether you respond positively or negatively he wins. So I guess my answer (comeon thumbs down, lol) is the people who are feeding it because they are giving him that power.

Is this someplace where the worlds problems can be solved or is it cheap entertainment? You would have to be a complete moron to get seriously invested in these discussions. And as far as I see everbody gets a reward. You think people answer the ridiculous questions out of indignation or to take a shot of their own. It is the wild west and everybody's packing here on YA. Yeeee Hawwww!

This is entertainment.

Both are equally responsible for giving a voice to racist comments. I am thinking a post like this contributes to it as well. We'll see...

Why not report these abusers as Abuse or Spam to Yahoo! ? I haven't seen this, but if I came across it, I would report it. There's no room for that on here.

Don't we still have "Freedom of Speech" in America? I don't always like the things some people say, but I support their right to say it.

Those people are just stupid and want attention, so the best way to stop them is by ignoring them.
